All of the technologies are cloud-based solutions, eliminating large capital expenses, costly hardware solutions, maintenance expenses and cost-and labor-intensive upgrades. It also offers vRad ResultsSM, a communications tool that gives access to images, reports and radiologists via the Internet or mobile device, and vRad VaultSM, a secure and virtually unlimited storage solution for radiology images. vRad Enterprise Connect 3.0 has several new features, including the vRad PACS SM viewer, which was initially developed for use by vRad radiologists and is now being offered to customers. #PHILIPS QLAB UPGRADE#ScImage | Cloud-based RIS Unifi es Disparate Technologies An upgrade to a radiation infor-mation system (RIS) was launched recently with new features to effi ciently manage the workfl ow. This capability eliminates the need to perform the quantifi cation on the ultrasound system after the images are acquired and the need to send the images to a stand-alone workstation for quantifi cation. The integration allows the user to launch the QLAB application directly from the ScImage PACS workspace with automatic image data sharing. Facilities using Philips ultrasound systems will now benefi t from the availability of Philips’ QLAB advanced ultrasound quantifi cation tools within ScImage’s Enterprise PACS.
